Mirchi Fritters Recipe

Hello friends today here is another yum fast food recipe for you which is well known as mirchi fritters or chilli fritters or mirchi bhajji. Mainly it is prepared from green chillies, gram flour and some commonly available spices. This fritters recipe is very popular in entire Indian cities and you will find this at almost every Indian cities and villages. It is also categorized in popular Indian street foods is well. We have made this Indian fritters in a different style and with a secret to make it more crispy.

You can have this yum Bhajiya with dates chutney, green chutney or garlic chutney whichever you like. Ingredients for Mirchi Fritters:
Main Ingredients:
5-6 Green Chillies.
150 Grams Besan or Gram Flour.

Other Spices/Ingredients:
½ tsp of Asafoetida.
Pinch of Baking Soda.
Salt to taste.
Oil for deep frying.

Mirchi Fritters Preparations:
Cut all the green chillies lengthwise from centre, don’t remove the seeds and stem.
Put gram flour in mixing bowl then add asafoetida, baking soda, salt and mix well.
Now add water as per required to make nice thick batter.
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying, put all the chillies in gram flour batter so they get coated nicely with batter.
Put the chillies one by one in oil for frying, cook them 50% then take them out and give rest for 10-15 minutes.
After 15 minutes again fry them in hot oil till they become light golden brown.
Take them out in a serving plate and serve with dates chutney and green chutney or any other chutney of your choice.
