Main Ingredients:
150 gm Boiled Moong Dal.
1 Medium size Finely Chopped Tomato.

Spices / Other Ingredients:
1 tsp Garlic and Ginger Paste.
2 Chopped Green Chilies.
8-10 Curry Leaves.
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds.
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds.
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder.
1 tsp Red Chili Powder.
1/2 tsp Asafoetida.
1 tsp Coriander and Cumin Seeds Powder.
Salt to taste.
3 tsp Oil.

Mung Dal Preparations:
Heat oil.
Add mustard seeds.
When mustard seeds started popping add cumin seeds.
Add turmeric powder and Garlic and Ginger Paste.
Stir all the things very well.
Add tomatoes and cook it for 1-2 minutes at very high heat.
Add asafoetida, coriander and cumin seeds powder, salt and 4-5 curry leaves.
Mix all the things very well.
Add water (you can add Water according to your serving and need).
Cook it for 2-3 minutes at a very high heat.
Add moong dal.
Cover it and cook it for 5-7 minutes at medium low heat.
Turn the heat off and serve this with roti, chapati (Indian Bread) or rice.
